Receptionist / Permit Officer - Alice Springs

Ngaanyatjarra Council is currently seeking an experienced Receptionist / Permit Officer for their Alice Springs Office.

Ngaanyatjarra Council (Aboriginal Corporation) represents the interests of around 2000 members who live in 12 remote Indigenous Communities in the Ngaanyatjarra Lands of Western Australia.

The successful candidate will be prepared to undertake the following duties and possess the following qualities for this role:

  • Frontline reception and administration duties
  • Sound computer skills
  • Outstanding communication & organisational skills
  • Managing Council’s permit system
  • Outstanding time management and prioritisation skills
  •  Knowledge and appreciation of Aboriginal Culture
  •  Utmost discretion and excellent client skills are essential
  •  Must be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team

Salary will be offered at Level 2 ($53,023.03 – 56,351.83) depending on experience plus 5 week’s annual leave, an annual airfare and access to generous PBI salary packaging.
